Showings

All showing requests will be scheduled by us in accordance with the showing instructions you provided. When a showing is scheduled make certain that the home is in tip top condition, you will only get one chance to make a first impression!

We feel it is critical that you do not attend the showing. Nothing kills a showing faster than the owner hovering around. The buyer cannot speak freely, will feel rushed, and it is impossible to visualize a home as your own when the owner (no matter how nice they may be) is hovering around.

It’s best to turn on all the lights, turn on some light music and the leave the home, so the home is vacant when the agent appears. If the showing was scheduled the day before then we will always call an hour prior to confirm the showing. Once the showing is completed, after a couple of hours (giving the agent time to discuss the property and others they are looking at with the buyer) we phone the agent to get feedback, and then communicate that feedback to you. Seriously consider any feedback you receive, and don’t take it personal.

If a buyer without agent representation contacts you directly for a showing then always refer them to Bravo. Be mindful of potential scams. Many times a couple posing as a buyer will try to arrange a showing and then one person distracts the owner, while the other person searches the home for valuables.
